The park has honeycombed spaces, with flat, sandy soil and plenty of shade. Its toilet blocks are equipped with hot water, diaper room and facilities for users with reduced mobility. Located near the town of Pinhal Novo and close to the historic town of Palmela, which has several points of historical interest, it also offers quick access to beaches and the Arrábida mountains, which, along with the Troia peninsula, are points of interest.
