Armona Island is enough for lovers of simple pleasures, such as shellfish picking or the silence without cars. In Olhão we suggest a visit to the local market and a stroll through the old cubist town, with white houses and Algarvian chimneys. In Ria Formosa, Ilha da Armona is the place to eat what are perhaps the best clams “à Bolhão Pato” in the world.
